Fintel Webinar – Important and useful information
February 18, 2011 in Fintel Communication, General News and Announcements
Hello Fintel students.
Fintel has decided to take advantage of current and useful technology and will be presenting a number of webinars throughout 2011.
The webinar process is a new experience for Fintel members and staff. To make this an enjoyable encounter some preliminary information has been provided in an effort that everyone has a basic understanding of what a webinar is and how to best be involved. Some or many of the Fintel members will already had and taken part and experienced that advantages of webinars as these are becoming a common way for companies to share information and provide details etc. Fintel is new at this and over time the process and content will improve, and webinars will be established as a worthy learning experience and environment.
Important points
- The webinars are set to AEST. This means that the event will start at 7pm QLD time. During the summer months of the year other states and time zones will be different. EG NSW will be at 8pm.
- Everybody will require a good set of speakers or headphones. This will make listening that much easier for you at home.
- Microphones are not essential but may be useful. At times clients may be able to ask a question using voice. This is moderated by the organisers and attendees are turned on and off. If you do not have a microphone it does not matter as questions can be typed.
- Questions and interactive feedback will help with the webinar process and provide improved content.
- This can be done and is encouraged by using the ‘question’ box built into the software.
- The webinars will be recorded (hopefully) and can then be downloaded and reviewed as needed.
- I have provided a link to some additional information supplied by the software company. Please read and familiarise yourself with this information as it will help you during a live webinar. Click here
